How to Brand a Pumpkin Ornament
To brainstorm, gather all of your supplies together to gear up up your work surface area.
Once all of your supplies are in order, you lot will use a pencil to describe down the styrofoam ball separating the surface into 8 equal "pieces". Think of it similar cutting a pie. Yous can draw effectually once, so halfway between the lines, again, so again to create the eight sections.
After yous have traced the lines, you volition employ a craft pocketknife (I like the Xacto knife), and you will trace the lines y'all drew to cut the styrofoam ball. You just want to make a slight cut along the lines for the textile to attach to inside.
Once you have made the cuts, yous will then place your fabric over the pumpkin and trace out pieces the shape and size of each "piece" you have sectioned.

Next, y'all will cut the fabric into strips. I used 4 orange and 4 plaids. You can mix and match or go on all the same color depending upon your preference. Every bit you cutting the strips of cloth, cutting slightly larger than the outline so in that location is plenty to fit tightly into the crevices of the ball.
Next, you tin stuff the fabric on the ball tucking edges into the crevices until the whole styrofoam ball is covered.
Your final pace will be to push a small twig downwards into the superlative eye to create a stem. You lot can add a leaf to this with gum if you desire.
